White Christmas – sweet melting sugar overdose: our contribution to the christmas tree exhibition.
Every year the christmas tree exhibition is taking place for a week at the university of arts and design Karlsruhe. The sugar tree was made of lump sugar piled up as a white, glittering tree. A drip filled with liquid green food color was installed invisibly 10 meters above the tree. Small drops of green color were dripping over a period of 7 days and slow by slow destroyed the sugar tree. The greener the tree became the more the sugar dissolved and melted away.
